Title: Mosfet FX loop
Post by: tubenit on May 28, 2012, 06:58:28 pm
Guys,

Do you think this would work to use mosfets instead of a tube for a D-latorish style active FX loop?

Revised the schematic and reposted it.

With respect, Tubenit

I think it's doable. May not even need tweaking.

Looks good T, I assume this circuit won't draw much current?? As i am already close to max with the transformers i have on the little wing

I am thinking this might be better.

Hi tubenit,
Have you tried this on your amp yet? JFETs appear to be "plug and play" but they aren't that easy as they need to be biased properly same as using tubes. I just discovered this LND150 on own about a month ago. (wish I'd been looking at these threads in SS before now as you guys are as usual ahead of the curve - "my curve" anyway)

Haven't tried it and decided to not build it.  Sorry.
