Title: Best output section for KT88 or 6550
Post by: Tone Junkie on May 30, 2012, 02:22:11 pm
Any good amps out there to copy from with a reliable schematic either fixed bias or cathode bias.
Im going to use the clean channel from the Tos both the old style(first one I built) and the new front end Tubnit evolved to.
Im thinking interesting way to go, the first one I built the clean channel when cranked up would bloom and get good sustain I liked it.
Thanks Bill                      :think1:

One that comes closest to matching your PSU.
eg: no point trying to use a HiWatt DR201 power amp design if you don't have the stacked HT secondaries to provide suitable anode and screen voltage difference.
