I am finishing up a cabinet (modified V Front ) for a 5E3 chassis and plan to cover it with tweed fabric. Seems like lots of places sell the stuff but I have a feeling some product is more authentic looking that others.
Any suggestions? I saw some at Angela's website. They seem to carry a lot of replica stuff.
Could use recommendations for grill cloth as well.
Thanks for any thoughts on the matter.

I can't say for sure, but I'd check out Mojo and AES.

Weber sells 2 versions. They sent me a sample and the antique is a match. Now you gotta decide on amber or pumpkin. The Oxblood is correct as well.

Ed. I checked Weber and they have a note at the top of the cabinet hardware page that tolex and grill cloth is no longer available by the yard. Looks like that supplier is no go for now. Thanks for the reply regardless.

Sorry about that. I checked Mojo samples and while good, they were not that ole bumpy tweed we love. Victoria amps have it on them. Maybe an email to them and they would tell you where they get it. They are great folks and have a great product as well.

True enough Ed. As much as it is rewarding to build your own tweed, if I could afford it I would buying theirs. Great sounding amps.

You can get some great vintage tweed by grabbing up old electric organs on craigs list.
