I did this yesterday with my Telecaster and my 18 Watt II with the extra gain stage. I don't own an acoustic guitar and it's a strange thought to consider distortion when fingerpicking, but I liked the effect. This amp has nice dirt IMO.

That sounds really nice! FInger picking with distortion?  Look no further than Toy Caldwell!  What speakers are you running through?
