Title: The 11th hour
Post by: EL34 on September 06, 2012, 03:49:15 pm
One of my all time fav tunes That I first heard on a Ventures album

I have recorded this before but I decided to update it by using the ReVibe for the guitar parts.
The rythym guitar has Reverb and Vibrato
The lead guitar just has Reverb

Check it out

Boy, that sure brings back some good memories!  I had the Venture's records in mono hi-fidelity wasn't even stereo.

The reverb and vibrato sound great. Really captures the feel and tone of their playing. Nice job.

With respect, Tubenit

I love those old Ventures tunes, and that is a great album. This is a cool version and the reverb sounds fantastic; is there any rack reverb in there or is it all your unit?

Nice playing and a really great sound!

Thanks,
The reverb is all coming from the ReVibe

The signal chain is

Guitar > ReVibe > All tube Stereo pre-amp > Computer sound card line in > Guitar rig with a Laney or Hiwatt amp (can't remember) set to clean > into Mixcraft 6 for recording
