Title: Gibson Thor output impedance

I have a gibson Thor in for re-build but the speakers are missing. Anyone know the impedance of the original speakers?

Does your amp look like this (http://johnkvintageguitars.homestead.com/Thor.html)? If so, pair of 8Ω 10" speakers.

Yeah, that's it, Thanks. So the output Z = 16 ohms.

That would be my guess based on the pics on that webpage. Looks like the speakers are wired in series.
