Oh, there’s something for everybody to dislike here. :-)
For once, I really don’t know where to start. “A Scotsman goes into a disco...” No, you probably already heard that one. Maybe just giving you the link and then exiting is the best thing. Okay, here you go:
Brother Green (Dance Mix): https://www.box.com/s/hdvcr192h5d60c69odv3 (https://www.box.com/s/hdvcr192h5d60c69odv3)
This thing has more production in it than anything I’ve ever done. It is such a strange mashup of genres that I hate to say anything. Just give it a listen and then run!
Guitars: the red Warmoth Tele and my Strat Special. Amp: my old Interociter, which I built as a sort of cathode biased EL84 Tweed Bassman. Fact is, to play this thing live would require a huge number of people, but it would be a lot of fun, I think. Especially as it lends itself to dance mix length.
Conscious influences: Runrig, Old Blind dogs and Oysterband, all contemporary bands I generally like. Also (and this one is off the wall) the material that Jeff Beck did when he was produced by Mickey Most in the 60s. (Hi-Ho Silver Lining and Talley Man.)
Enough.

That's cool, I like it.
I like some of the dance beat stuff if it's well done
I have done a few dance beat tunes also
Here's a really strange one I wrote called Synth Thetic
It's a bunch of short synth riffs cut and pasted together

And of course the fabulous remake I did of the ABBA tune, Lay All your Love on me :icon_biggrin:

Wow!! That's great! What a super cool tune. Very creative and emotional. I liked that ALOT. I'd give that an A++.

Thank you for sharing it!
With respect, Tubenit

Hey, I'm really pleased that you liked it; that makes all the work worthwhile. Doug, I like your dance tunes - I already knew about those, LOL. I started with computer music by writing tracker mods on an Amiga. Some of those old Amiga demos are still pretty cool.

keep posting the cool stuff
I only post my links cause I figured no one ever listened to them cause they are buried on page 56 in the forum
