Title: switchable master volume ?

How can I wire a switchable dual 1meg pot to take the MV out of the circuit?.. ( PPIMV.. Ken Fisher type I ).

Lots of ways to do that.  I think that would be really cool if you could find a dual gang A1M pot with a SPST switch.  You could wire the pots backwards so that you'd turn the volume up by turning the knob counter clockwise.  And then have the switch break the connection to ground from lug 3 (which would normally be lug 1) to both the pots.  This way, when you turn the pots all the way counter clockwise, you take the resistance out of line from the signal paths completely and connect it directly to ground, then when you turn the switch off, it breaks the ground connection so you basically have a 1M resistor dangling there doing nothing.

RV24B01F-10-A1M would be the Alpha part # if such a thing existed.
