Happy Thanksgiving Plexi50 and all you ampers on the Forum

That turkey looks great!! I haven't got any pixs of mine but my 22.5 Butterball is still on the smoker where it has been all night--changed the charcoal out about 2 AM and will take it off just before carving time.

Also got my little Bear amp and ax set up fot my Grandson when he gets here. Kind of a tradition last few years as he has developed one heavy duty ax slinger. Sometimes gets a little loud with all the company---so I have to adjust the volume down;>/

It's a nice blue sky with high temps about 70 degrees here in Lousyanner. I can say I'm truely thankful
and Praise God for his Blessings on me. Platefire

I kind of behaved myself yesterday and stopped with one large platefull---usually I stop with no less than two rounds. So I guess I was only 2 months PG by plexi50's measurement and PRR's smiling belly  :l2:

A high point yesterday. I broke my mandolin out yesterday and was going about the yard playing it as we were taking family pictures and my 11 year old grandaughter said---show me something on that. So I showed her an g, c and d cords. So immediatly she was playing the cords clearly and was progressing quickly between the cords playing her own pretty decent fast tempo rhythem part. She litterally played the mandolin the rest of the day and I showed her how to play amazing grace using those cords. You could see the fire in her eyes that she knew she was hitting on something special. I'm thankful to had a small part in that. Platefire
