First post here. Didn't know of a better way to say Howdy. I'll get to some amp stuff soon. I've got a Carvin in need of a transplant. As for the tune: It's quasi original in that I've heard versions of this kind of stuff all over and first on the East Coast Blues venues. It also represents my first attempt at recording and posting to the Internet. As for the parts: Silverfox on Rhythm, Silverfox on Lead.

What gear are you using to play and to record?

Ibanez Gibson 335 copy, Digitech RP335, Trace Elliot TVT-9, power amp portion of an EL34 based Carvin MTS 3200 with B52 Celestion copies. Mic with an AKG D2300S into a Behringer x1622 USB mixer. Using Reaper to record. First time I've done this and was amazed at the level of quality. Didn't even process the tracks before rendering to MPEG3.
The amp portions of the chain is what led me to this Forum. In much need of advice and will post when ready to tackle a rebuild of the amps. Hence the initial purchase of various audio controls.
The site "minus" is great being new? just fill in a couple of blanks and drop some media onto the home page and presto- 'A Star Is Born'. Guess that's the down side. Everybody's a discovered star now. But if that's all you play for you'll Nova.

Heavens to mergatroid thanks for sharing! Welcome also SF. There were a few instances that Steely Dan came to mind for me. Enjoyed it.
