Title: Question about Fender Reverb circuit
Post by: The_Gaz on December 01, 2012, 01:02:10 am
I'm about to build an amp with Fender style reverb (ala BF Twin Reverb), plus I want to add a tone control for it just like the 6G15. My problem is that I don't have a 100KL pot for the Reverb Level control or 50KL for the tone control. I have a bunch of 25KL, 250KL, 250KA, 500KA, and 1MA pots, and am trying to figure out if any  of those will do the trick.

I'm trying to figure out why the values in the originals were chosen and how they interact with the other components. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Better to buy a 100k pot , it is so cheap . You have enough work to do ,don,t mod this circuit if not really sure , you must be sure all parts are the good one

Thanks for the advice. Worth, where is that layout from? - I'd love to see the whole thing.
