Dear Tube enthusiast..
I recently gotten a Fryette SAS pedal and damn it worked so well as a boost infront of my amp.. which after so many transistor or Op amp pedals i tried just didnt worked out.. i then have interest over tube design pedal which getting a DIY tube amp is too expensive for a first attempt.. i recently found out the Persuader tube DIY kit but i did source out the parts after gotten the listing for the components needed...
just wanna ask as i is my first time i didnt get quality high end electronic parts... anyway i managed to source few exact components but few like a block capacitor instead of a ceramic capacitors and have gotten a transistor BC107 instead of BS107.. i was wondering if this would inturn have a big change in my tone ? or would it ever work after i connect them all up? hope to hear of any good advise?
