A merry christmas to all of you my friends who helped me a lot more than I could do in return. Because of you I play a wonderful amplifier and my understanding of electronic is much more complete than it was when I joined this forum many years ago.

Back at ya! Merry Xmas to all of you! I maybe shouldnt mention this but i just had all my uppers pulled friday.
God doesnt that sound nice? So instead of getting my two front teeth for Xmas i lost all of them :sad2: :BangHead:

Man it took me 8 hours to hitch hike through texas back in 1977. I finally wound up working on the Grand Canyon on the north rim at the Kaibab Lodge in the summer. And then working the south rim in the winter. 4 hour hike down to the bottom to Phantom Ranch. 8 hour hike back up. If you had no candy to eat to keep your energy up to get out of the canyon then you would wuss out and call the Heliport to take you out by helicopter. $600.00 + back in 1977. I saw a lot of people who could not hike back out. Man you could pick the Salmon right out of the river. Before any of you croak you need to visit the Grand Canyon. I hiked up into the mountain on my day off. I ran straight into a mountain lion. I saw him. He saw me. We were 15 feet apart. I looked down at the ground as to not continue to make eye contact with him. I was a goner at his will. I slowly looked back up and he or she was gone. I will never to this day understand why i was not eaten. Plain and simple. His eyes were as big as a coffee cup saucer. They dialated big time when the both of us first noticed each other. Thats when i felt i was at the mercy of a wild beast and there was no way out. Why he or whatever gender it was dissapeared i dont know but i ran my ass back down the mountain making sure that i was not being chased after. Cats like that chase thing. He was so big that it would have been over in a second. I will never understand how i survived that moment. Maybe it was, SANTA? :l2: No sleigh ride. Just pure instinct to get away. I was ready to scale a tree if i had to. But that would not have mattered. Thank GOD. He has changed my life and made me a better person. Outlaws? Yes i was in 1972. Life has many changes in store for all of us. None which any of us could ever fathom. All i can say is i am glad for all the hardships i have been through in life including Death Row in 1970. That was a screw up by the State Of Floridah and another story which is unbelievable. Fact is truly stranger than fiction. Anyway are we through Texas yet?

Your right. I think it was more like two days. All im remembering now is it took forever and a day
