Title: Marshall DSL 201 FX Loop
Post by: plexi50 on December 27, 2012, 10:58:49 pm
I have a DSL 201 with an FX that is just over whelming and nasty. Out of control. Very sensative. I have heard of the FX jumper mod for this amp but have not found anything online that pertains exclusivley to doing this mod. The schematic looks as though the reverb and FX are parallel to one another. If any of you have any solutions for the FX problem im all ears

There are a few differences in the the two as far as components.  How does the reverb sound?  It that is ok, you can rule out the shared items.  Blow up that section of the schematic, print it out, and hit it with a highlighter as you work your way through!  The only thing I can think of for a "mod" might be just plugging in a jumper cord in the send and return?  The only thing I could find on-line was an issue with power supply diodes.

Good luck!
