Hi folks, Vox Pathfinder, non- rev model, at least 5 years old. Fuse blew last night; no issues up until then, just vol and gain at 2:00 or
so each, no pedals in front, 10" Jensen replacing the stock Bulldog at 8 ohms...I've built several tube amps, but have NO idea where to start here. While trying to get a schem, does anyone have any general thoughts as to a good place to start troubleshooting this? Many thanks-

how about replacing the fuse and putting the amp on a current limiter....hit 'start' and see what the light bulb says?
or 2. open her up and take a good long look at the pcb, connections, check for loose wires touching on somthing else, burnt spots around power resistors, etc etc
I think the Vox SS models made in China or ? all have a reliability problem IMO, and it's mostly due to poor quality parts that go bad not too long after the darling leaves the showroom. Just one man's opinion fo sho.
good luck
