I used expensive solder all the way before. Because i think more money more better.

But i mod one distortion pedal. And i restore everything original. But i use furutech solder. Sound being not sharp. And too fat.

Now , i believe guitar should use no silver solder

I just remove my guitar msolder and use kester 44. Sound a lot of different. Msolder sound very smooth , but not like guitar sound. Kester sound very rough , like a man. But sound correct for guitar.

Btw. Will vintage made in usa kester solder sound more better

I can get you even more expensive solder (NOS export grade vintage solder with original rosin core). 60:40 (or thereabouts) leaded works fine.

you'll need an 80W NOS weller soldering iron with a chisel-tip to go with that. just won't sound right without it. that's real mojo right there...

Thank you everyone to reply me. Maybe you think solder is not affect the sound too much. But i test with with other 5 people. All prove it

btw , i am using weller ws81 80w solder iron. This iron really make my cable sound better. Because it provide enough heat
