The first time I saw this was when Howard Leese was playing one at a Heart concert. I thought it sounded good, but he was so processed back then a washtub and string would have sounded good! I've also seen pics of John Lennon supposedly using one on Double Fantasy. As I understand it, only a few examples were built. I always thought it looked REALLY COOL! Kind of a googie/Jetsons guitar look! Not for everyone, I'm sure... I have seen examples with a longer top bar and then there is the shorter one like in the pic. Looks like a lot of tap and phase switches. I wonder what the body is made of? Anybody know anything about them? A search pulled up a possible name of Jeff Levine as the builder.

Sluckey, I always thought that was a cool design, and I'm sure Billy Gibbons must have one of those in his collection....he's the only guy I can picture actually playing either one of those
