Title: another piece of crap
Post by: worth on February 16, 2013, 04:40:07 pm
Spent $ and time , to find this sounds as bad as all direct boxes. What am I missing ?  The guitar sounds like an overloaded '60's transistor radio... like all line-outs , or direct boxes I've heard before.

Look at this topic and mod the weber line out;

I modified a Blues Jr with a fixed line out as Lone wolf, it works well.

Are you recording?  If so, I have a Mackie console which will receive an unbalanced signal and loop to balanced inputs for digital interface.  I still prefer mic to cabinet even though I have cab simulators.  Just sounds better.  I also use a mic insolation box which I made.
