Title: revibe question
Post by: burt_toast on February 21, 2013, 06:29:15 am
first, i don't know how i missed in all my lurking, that the 'vibe' part of a revibe IS that 6g12 harmonic tremolo i've been wanting - d'oh!

part univibe/part trem - sounds great Doug:

okay, so i freed up 2 sockets in my old bandmaster (well, it used to be...) by having a one-tube stout-style front end.

along with the footswitch, i also want to have a switched jack on my amp for a remote speed control using an old crybaby - will use the switch in that as the on/off, and with the 2 cables unplugged, the speed/intensity pots on the amp would work normally.

my question is, will i incur any noise/signal loss with a shielded 15' cable to the wah/speed control? is that actual guitar signal at the speed pot, or just LFO?

it would be EPIC if i can make this work! thx

No noise/signal loss because only LFO signal is present on the speed pot.

woohoo! thanks sluckey. awesome. my favorite part of a vibe/leslie sound isn't the slow or fast, but the ramp in between. yay. already gutted the wah...

also, just to be clear, while i'd love to cram an entire revibe in my amp, i'm only adding the vibe part.
thanks again,
scott
