Title: Organic help
Post by: 6G6 on March 02, 2013, 09:24:23 am
Does anyone has a schematic for a hammond F100?
Yeah, I know, it's a useless bottom feeder no where near a B3...
BUT, this one was my grandmother's and now, my grand daughter is interested in playing it.  :icon_biggrin:
After 53 years, I think it's safe to say it needs a recap.
Anything else that I might want to do?
Oh yeah, everything still works, but it has had a volume drop recently.

Hey, its a musical instrument.  Never ran across one I didn't like.

Thanx loogie.
I had seen that, but hadn't dug deep enough.

I went by to check the contents of the bench today.
i thought there could be an original printed manual in there.
It was gone, but there was a user guide, with hints on how to get different sounds
and about a dozen music books with suggested settings for each song.
Also some other sheet music and, of course, a Methodist Hymnal.
I could almost hear my grandmother playing it.

Except for the missing owners manual and the need for new filter caps, it is almost
like it was when it left the fctory in 1960.  :icon_biggrin:
