Title: Pedal Board Switch Cover
Post by: ampgeek on March 16, 2013, 09:04:13 am
I have been itching to package up my pedals ala Pete Cornish and thought that the unique footswitch covers would be a good place to start the scratching.  Came up with the attached and thought that I would throw it out there for anyone else who might be thinking the same.

One of the good folks at the guitarpcb.com forum suggested the use of a washer as the switch mount which is simple but brilliant.

It shouldn't be too tough for anybody with some machining skills and access to a lathe.  Fortunately, I have a good friend with one who loves to toy around with stuff like this!

Hope it can be of use to someone who might be on the same trajectory!

Cheers,
Dave O.

Thanks Brad!

Well.....I haven't yet built the integrated pedal board.  That is a picture of a Pete Cornish example and what I am hoping to end up with after all is said and done.

The footswitch cover drawing is where I started as it doesn't appear that they can be procured commercially.

I am now designing and laying out the power supply boards for etching prototypes.  The individual effects will be assembled from commercially available boards.

Thanks again,
Dave O.
