Title: Another Revibe story
Post by: sluckey on March 16, 2013, 03:11:49 pm
I couldn't help it. I've admired Doug's Revibe project ever since I first found this site. Well, I finally built one. I love it! Don't know why I waited so long.

I promise this is my last project!

I am so glad you built that on a chassis like you did.  That's how I would like to do one also but in a head type box.  Now I have a reference to look at.  As with all your projects looks great and I am sure it sounds as good as it looks.
Thank you for sharing the downloadable PDF at the end of your project page.
I sure hope its not your last project.

Great job Slukey as always. I have had the idea of a stand alone REVERB (like my reverb) and to put one in every build is a costly thing as well as taking up space in the chassis that are aready crowded.

I always have a passive FX loop in my builds,so can the 6G15 as is work in this FX loop ??? Thanks  :icon_biggrin:

No. It was designed to work with low level instrument signals. It would require some modifications to work in an FX loop.

But, don't you also have an instrument input on every amp you build???

That an amazing work and finished product. I got my first taste of that type of reverb working on a VibroKing with the dwell and mix and loved it. If it sounds half as good as it looks it's got to be great! Platefire

Yeah Steve I've been thinking about building one for years also. This may have given me the push
I needed. Nice work!
