Title: 73 Fender Silverface Twin Reverb Schematic / Layout question ?
Post by: gtrplayr1976 on April 24, 2013, 12:05:11 pm
Hi Folks,

New to this forum ,and looking for some help.  I am working on a 73 SF Twin Reverb with MVS. I had decided to switch out the old fiber board with a Hoffman Twin Reverb board ,and clean up some of the wiring in the process. Any hi rez gut shots, layouts ,schematics of a Twin with a Hoffman board would be helpful.

Thank you in advance.

Just a clean out the lead dress of the original SF will make a very good amp and keep a value . Or modify easely in Balck Face . Less work or no more  than putting a Hoffman circuit .  With Hoffman (which I don't know ) you loose value.

But it is too late   ?

I guess it isn't all together too late. I do have a new board ,and all the parts off the old fiberboard. My friend will never sell this amp ,so I don't think value is so important. It just needs to be working correctly.
