Title: power-handling question
Post by: burt_toast on May 06, 2013, 08:02:54 pm
okay, if i've got two 8ohm speakers (each rated 25w), i understand they'd be 4ohm parallel or 16ohm series, but which way would better handle a 50w amp?

also then, would a 4x12 (all 25w) only handle 50w in series/parallel?

thx, scott

Doesn't matter. Either configuration can handle 50W equally.

No, it would handle 100W.
