Title: CH-6V6
Post by: tubenit on June 05, 2013, 05:54:34 am
This was based off an unverified schematic of a clone of a well known amp that used EL84's and had reverb.   I think this would be kind of a one trick pony but would have a good overdriven tone.

I changed it to 6V6's,  added an active FX for delay pedal (instead of reverb) & to be used as the master volume,  changed the tone stack and other values such as coupling caps, smoothing caps and the filter cap values in the B+ rail from the original.

With 275-0-275 PT with 150ma ............   & a 330R/10w resistor for power tubes .......

you should be able to use
                   5Y3GT for 6K6's
                   5V4    for 6V6's
                  GZ34   for 5881's

Haven't built it.   Just a DRAFT idea, only.

CHECK for ERRORS!   Compare  layout with schematic. IF there is a difference, go with the schematic.

IF someone builds this, please post a review on the tweaks forum.  Thanks!

with respect, Tubenit
