Title: RC Trucks, Guinea Pigs, Anybody?
Post by: nandrewjackson on July 22, 2013, 02:38:28 am
SCX10 by Axial. Highly modified. Electric 1/10th scale RC truck.  Fully waterproof.  Pics are old but it's basically still like that. Addition of working winch and other scale details recently not pictured.

yeah me too, the trucks will sit for a whole summer, maybe see some action in the winter, maybe not.  It's fun, but $$ and time aren't always on my side.

This last time I got into it (2009?) I found the "scale" trucks were going offroad more than previously.  Used to be just the real high dollar 18-wheelers and high-dollar construction vehicles.  Now you can get a scale Toyota Hilift, F-150, various Jeeps, LandRover's, and lots of scale accessories, and they aren't anywhere near the RC scale prices of the 18=wheelers.

A little homemade waterproofing and mods and hit the trails/creeks !!!
