Title: Since I started over (board layout)
Post by: hesamadman on August 16, 2013, 07:10:54 am
EDIT: Damn I missed a whole section. Will return this evening!

So Ive been looking at the schematic and studying everything like you guys have said. I made my own layout on photoshop today. I used images from another layout for all my components. Copy and Paste :)

I literally just finished this. I havent got to double check it. Off to work now. But will look at it all day. A couple things that I did and hoping you can tell me if this is ok.

* The 5.6K resistors on pin 5 of the output tubes are connected by a wire to the .022UF caps on top of board. Well instead off having the loose resistors float around on the tubes pins I mounted them on top of board directly to caps. Any issues with this?

* There is a space of blank board over in the preamp section. I did this because I later on want to modify this with a voicing switch where it will switch from different cathode bypass cap values.

Thoughts?

Hey hesa,
I took a minute and pointed out a few things and got rid of your "grid lines"

Keep looking, and keep up the good work
