Post by: lego4040 on October 30, 2013, 12:15:50 pm
:m7 So my other hobby among others are Three and four string CBG's. Each one is always different and therapeutic help when building. Here is my latest one(http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j72/legomaniac4040/null_zps7b817915.jpg) (http://s77.photobucket.com/user/legomaniac4040/media/null_zps7b817915.jpg.html)(http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j72/legomaniac4040/null_zps3673c486.jpg) (http://s77.photobucket.com/user/legomaniac4040/media/null_zps3673c486.jpg.html)(http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j72/legomaniac4040/null_zps044abaa8.jpg) (http://s77.photobucket.com/user/legomaniac4040/media/null_zps044abaa8.jpg.html)(http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j72/legomaniac4040/null_zpsd96b9c02.jpg) (http://s77.photobucket.com/user/legomaniac4040/media/null_zpsd96b9c02.jpg.html)(http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j72/legomaniac4040/null_zps6dbe666a.jpg) (http://s77.photobucket.com/user/legomaniac4040/media/null_zps6dbe666a.jpg.html)

If I ever had a martin again I would just keep getting it repaired if it needed it, Gibson can kiss my  :offtheair: I was never so turned off by a company that didn't give 2 cents about their customers. I bought a beautiful SG  two years ago and a week after I had it I returned it. Quality control was awful and their representative at store couldn't care less about my problem and admitted they have a problem. I would love a old Gibson but I aint loaded.(http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j72/legomaniac4040/01C5C0FF-6323-424C-B90B-2FD875BA7227-7624-000009943045C6F9.jpg) (http://s77.photobucket.com/user/legomaniac4040/media/01C5C0FF-6323-424C-B90B-2FD875BA7227-7624-000009943045C6F9.jpg.html)(http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j72/legomaniac4040/1AA28817-2759-4238-897F-6AE85215062D-7624-00000994244AA65E.jpg) (http://s77.photobucket.com/user/legomaniac4040/media/1AA28817-2759-4238-897F-6AE85215062D-7624-00000994244AA65E.jpg.html)(http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j72/legomaniac4040/1275239158069_zpsed8a4a40.jpg) (http://s77.photobucket.com/user/legomaniac4040/media/1275239158069_zpsed8a4a40.jpg.html)(http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j72/legomaniac4040/1276042594362_zpsbb28add0.jpg) (http://s77.photobucket.com/user/legomaniac4040/media/1276042594362_zpsbb28add0.jpg.html)(http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j72/legomaniac4040/1276042761016_zpsb7bb63e1.jpg) (http://s77.photobucket.com/user/legomaniac4040/media/1276042761016_zpsb7bb63e1.jpg.html)

I noticed that some have frets & some don't......or is the fret-less one not finished ?  Being a steel guitar player, I was curious......

I've built quite a few lap steel guitars, and I use plastic for the "fret" boards, with the fret markings etc, cut into the plastic on a CNC that my buddy has in his shop. Fret scales are on the net, for various scale lengths.
Your "cigar boxes" are cool ! :icon_biggrin:
