Title: Another Traynor YSR1
Post by: plexi50 on November 06, 2013, 06:02:11 pm
I bought this on a whim hoping that it would have all the original stock tubes in it. The sales pics made it look so dirty and moldy that i thought it might sell fairly low. It did and the funny part is when it arrived today it was not dirty or looked anything like the pics online.

And YES!!! It has all the Phillips 12AX7A / 7025 preamp tubes. 100% untouched and virginy. Has the two prong cord. The power tubes were some old marshall tubes but nothing extravagant. It sounds great. Reverb and tremelo both are doing there thing. Traynor 50 to you Steve!  :l2: Plexi 50 is on a long vacation

Holy crap! Throw away 3 tubes and chop that board in half and you have a perfect platform for a 1987!    :icon_biggrin:

It feels good not to chop anymore. I still feel quilty about the last YSR1 i modified. I am pretty burned out these days.
Need some Pepto Ampbismo
