Yeah TIMBO,
I'll never forget the first time I saw this guy on TV......

I sat there motionless, with my mouth hanging open, drooling slightly, and trying to think of a better hobby to take up  :icon_biggrin:

In fact, it was probably right around that time that I started to build amps  :undecided:

Looks like he is having great fun with it too!   Local, huh?  Cool!  Pretty amazing to do that on an acoustic.

It's nice to have a superb players that are local.   Anson Funderburg & the Rockets used to play almost every Monday night in Dalllas.  I listened to them for yrs and never got tired of it.

With respect, Tubenit

Great Player Tommy Emmanuel.  He may be local to you Timbo, but the guy is rather famous.

The first time I saw him was at a venue called The Variety Playhouse.  I had no idea who he was as I was going to see Leo Kottke as they were both playing with George Benson.

I did not start building amps when I saw him play, but I did adopt the thumbpick and finger style and have never looked back.
