Anybody have a link for information on how to do Vero boards for a pedal. Never used one.

Yep, that's where I get 99% of my vero layouts.
There are tabs along the top of the page with guides on working with vero.

I can generally do a board from scratch in an hour or two, start to finish.
I also use DIY Layout Creator (a free program) to re-do any layouts that I want to add mods to. I haven't progressed to the point yet where I can do my own layouts from scratch, though...
Schematics for almost all the layouts can be found by searching at FreeStompBoxes.org, or by simply doing a google image search

Midwayfair who designed cardinal tremolo and tons more mainly works w vero, he's very helpful at answering questions. He can be found at usual spots, Madbean, BYOC and 1776 effects
