Title: Fender Pawn Shop Ramparte
Post by: Ed_Chambley on December 02, 2013, 10:12:27 am
Played one of these and was pleasantly surprised.  I cannot find a schematic, but from the reading I have done, it is a 5f1 circuit with 2 volume (one low and one high gain) controls and 2 cascaded 12AX7 and a 6L6 for 9 watts in a 12 speaker.  Should be very simple build, but I cannot seem to find a schematic.

Anyway, I prefer the 5c1 circuit and tried it with the amp.  Sounds good.  Anyone ever cascaded 2 6sj7's?  What results did you find?

Thanks Sluckey.  I meant the Ramparte schematic.  Fender must not have released it yet.  I am wanting to see how they added the additional tube and also determine a way to add a footswitch to turn off and on the high gain.  The price point on the amp is such where I will just buy one in a few months off craigslist.  Surprisingly, the amp is loud enough to gig with.

I would like to convert one to octals and point build it.
