I picked up a 2007 Gibson SG Classic today with an SKB hardcase. Man this guitar is nice and plays like butter. The P-90's sound really good. No mud here. It has a Nitro Cellulose finish as well. It has been kept in the case since purchased in 2007. Does anyone else have any words to say about the Gibson SG Classic model?

Thanks TIMBO. I spent an hour recording ripping blues and slide Dwayne Allman style tweets and all. I finished and the record button wasnt pushed. I know i turned it on. There was no video after i went to the computer. Dam!

I will always be a Tele and strat nut but the SG sure does sound good. Can use it for just about anything

Big fat single coil! Bet it's great for slide tuned up to a chord.

Looks Like Brand new! Merry Christmas! "Good old Sunday Morning Bells are Ringing everywhere,
going to Carolina Lord I know I'll soon be their, Yeah, Yeah" ---now come in with the SG!

It is a beauty. Here are better pics of the guitar. I think it's as new as you will find for a 2007. I like the wood grain. Read a lot of good things about it online so far.

Boy that is sharp! Bet you can't keep you hands off it

I have played it but to be honest im affraid to handle it too much. It's lke new and you can still smell the Laquer finish. Got it from a friend that bought it back in 2007. He played a few times at home an put it back in the case. It's been there ever since 2007. He is a Tele guy like many of us so he never used it. The P-90's sound very good IMO.
