Title: Ibanez AD9 trim pots
Post by: jeff on February 05, 2014, 10:02:40 am
Hi I recently got an ibanez AD9 anolog delay that wasn't working. I broke out the scope and traced the signal path and found the problem and fixed it! A cap came loose.

The schematic has two trim pots that I'm not sure how to set. R17(connected to pins 4 and 5 of U3) and R27(connected to 7 through 100K resistor). One seems to ballance the outputs??? and one seems to set the bias??? I'm wondering if they used the trim pot so they didn't have to worry about using matching resistors

 Can anyone help?

Thanks
