Hello
I'm wondering where I would insert an effects loop in a single channel AB763 style deluxe amp
I'm thinking right before the PI. Is that right?
And what would be the best way to go about it?
THanks!

Look at the schematic on the bottom of this page for a simple passive loop.

The passive FXLoop is the easiest solution and has a low impact on the existing amp
if you need an active FXLoop you can consider also a stand alone unit like the Dubleator
for a layout you can use the Ceriatone C-Lator version

and if you prefer SS the Klein-ulator

Simple passive effects is very easy to do and works well.
IF you want an active effects loop that is on board, then you can consider this from ARCHIVES:

Most Excellent and thank you all!
I have a Keil spring reverb unit pulled from an early 60s organ
I alligator clipped it in just before the PI and it sounds lovely..Huzzah Reverb!
Now I'll have a S.lucky Ab763lite frankentremedeluxeSSreverb!
I believe an acronym might be in order
Now I'm kicking myself for selling a tube organ mate last year!
Still this SS keil unit is very nice sounding
A few female RCA jacks installed and some tweaking of the control pot and it should do the trick nicely
