I was given a pro jr Because it has a pcb,I figured the easiest thing would be to tack on some bypass caps to the 12ax7 cathodes. and maybe strap some resistors to the plate to take it up to 200k. I would like more gain for dirty blues but no heavey metal plastic fiz. Any ideas?

You may also want to consider removing C2 and R6 and replacing R5 with a jumper wire.
