WOW! Nice!

You are really leaving no stone unturned, as if you don't already have the best tube amp forum on the net!

The SMF 1.x.x software is getting old

SMF 2.0 has much more support on the SMF forum and more admin controls

Nice! but I kinda wanted to see the column that indicated "post started by". I use that when searching for a not to distant post that I want to tag on to. Of course there might be a better tool for me to accomplish this. Platefire

Doug, I have one suggestion. I know you kinda have a gray/teal theme to the board. But the teal fonts on the dark gray background are very hard for me to see. Any possibility of something with more contrast? I see the teal fonts fine on the lighter shades of gray. Here's a pic of the combination I have trouble with...

I think the teal is a visited link

I think black is a non visited link
What color would be good for a visited link
maybe purple or blue?

Yellow really pops on a dark background, but it would suck on the lighter shades of gray. I don't know if there is one color for the link fonts (visited or not visited) that will stand out for a dark and a light bkgnd. Might be easier to experiment with the dark gray backgnd, maybe lighten up a shade or two?

I made a non-visited link black
That seems to be a good color for that

Now for a visited link
I have it set on blue, how's that?

I think that is easily the BEST looking forum format on the internet that I have seen!    WAAAAAYYYY COOOOOOL !!!!

Plus it seems to be very very easy to read now.  Not sure if that is a font change or the color/contrast type change.  Whatever it is ....... it works!

Thanks,  Jeff

Me likey! Even easier to read than before, and I like the blue up top. On a nonHoffmansite related rant, I don't understand why ANYONE thinks a black background with white text is easy on the eyes. I like this a lot!

Ahhhh, Much easier to read now and I'm not having the problem I was having before where I had to refresh the page if I went back one page. I couldn't open pages but problem solved. Love it Doug

Hit refresh on your browsers
I made some changes to the .css files

You won't see them unless you hit refresh because the files are cached in your browser

Ciao Doug

In the old version of the forum if we link an image in a post (instead to attach it) there was an automatic function which purpose was to resize the image as to fit on the page (and this gives also manual control on the size of the shown image if the post was edited)

I didn't find this feature on the new forum engine, please can you explain if is possible to resize the shown image ?

One other thing, with the new forum engine is possible to have a function to show an image that was downloaded as attachment in a specific raw of the post or it will be always shown on the bottom of the page ?

Many thanks for your attention

Franco

EDIT: I've just seen the solution, the Toggle View function
