Title: Tube-diode rectifier switch
Post by: chocopower on April 05, 2014, 12:07:33 pm
I´m gonna install a diode rectifier option to a amp with a GZ34. I already have installed a pair of diodes in series with the tube just for safety.

I posted the two ways i think could work, but any correction will be welcome.

thanks in advance!

Either should work. #1 is a bit more clever.

Yes, i agree with you.   :icon_biggrin:

My only concern was about the position of the rectifier. With diode rectifier engaged, will be in the middle of the chain, so i draw the #2.

Thanks!

I think PRR would call option 1 more "elegant". I never would have thought of doing it that way.  :worthy1:
