Title: Egnater TOL Voltage Regulator
Post by: navdave on April 18, 2014, 12:58:44 am
Hello all I have a Egnater TOL I think a 92 that was damaged in transit. The toroidal power transformer bolt broke shearing off a tube socket, voltage regulator, and heat sink.
The original voltage regulator is a LT 1084 CT (http://www.linear.com/docs/3741). Will a LM 1084 CT (http://www.ti.com/lit/gpn/lm1084) work in its place?
The original is still available through Digi Key but since I have everything torn open I'm also going to do a recap job and Mouser stocks all the proper radial caps I need plus the LM 1084.
On paper they look the same I just want to make sure any help is greatly appreciated.
