Title: Can actually a 6P14P be considered an EL84?

I can get some 6P14P at good price

but I would like to know your opinion

I bought a lot of these tubes from Russia and they sounded good in my el84 amps.

Compare operating conditions for the 6P14P and the EL84 for 250v plate and screen, as shown on both data sheets. Then look at the limiting values for both.

They look near-enough the same to me, how about you?
