Title: Please help

I posted earlier with a video sound clip of a scratchy crackling noise but got no replies.  I traced the problem to a vibration coming from the speaker with the amp head on top of it.  I put the amp on the floor and it goes away.  I checked all the connections, bolts, tapped on the tubes, and components but can't find any thing wrong.


Any suggestions?

You obviously are headed the right direction in that you have somewhat possibly isolated this to a mechanical or vibration issue instead of an electronic condition.

I think it's a matter of continuing to safely chopstick (non conductive) the components and connections until you are able to determine where the issue is.
