I debated a couple of days about whether to post this or not ................. I think it sounds better thru headphones than my cheapo computer speaker setup.
I kinda got lost in what to play at one point. :dontknow: Song ended up being harder to play than I anticipated.
Anyhow, I like the tone I am getting out of the amp about 1/2 way thru the soundclip.

I've listened to lot of different things you've posted over the last few years and I think you're growing a bigger vocabulary and are getting better at using it. I hear new ideas I haven't heard you play before.
I think there's some real nice parts/sections in that song you are playing. Very peaceful.
Over all I like it!

Jeff,
I am hearing Allman Bros circa 1972 with that creamy Marshallesk tone. Think In Memory of Elizabeth Reed or Melissa. Nice playing! I hope it was not influenced by that bottle of Tehas pee in the picture.... You need to post MORE!

Brad,
My genuine THANKS to you for the encouraging comments! If anyone can hear some progress, that's great encouragement to me even it the
playing is mediocre at best. I score low on talent but have tremendous fun with my guitar playing.
Jim, ........................ Virgil's Root Beer this time actually. No kidding! :icon_biggrin:
I liked the Allman Bros quite a lot. Saw them right after Duane was gone. Still a fabulous experience.
Best regards, Jeff

I agree with these guys and I'd like to add that I can't deny hearing some Larry in your tone and phrasing...

Me too, and I think this is a great example of the smooth sustain that you've worked hard at achieving.

And THEN I read your reply over at the low wattage 5E3 thread and thought...
"he's gonna think I responded because of that post"
:l2:
It's just crazy,,,the mental gymnastics I put myself through to be positive and 'to be perceived' as positive....I couldn't agree more about how valuable that positive atmosphere around here is,,,and how much it is conducive to growth and sharing
So for the record, I posted my last comment,,,and then read your post on the other thread,,,and then posted this comment :l2:
Keep up the great work Man,
The only reason I would come here and listen and not post would be:
- I would think you're sick of me telling me how great you are
- I would think Jim is sick of me telling you how great you are
- I couldn't think of something positive to say that was any different than the last 10 positive things I said :icon_biggrin:

SilverGun,
You remember some of that stuff you shared about playing lead over a yr ago .........................
There is some of that in the sound clip. Definitely has been useful to me. THANKS again!
Best regards, Jeff

I would like to reply with virtually NO mental gymnastics that you know that I know how positive my positivity is about the aforementioned subject that not only is my atmosphere positive but my sharing and growth is positive so this post may have something to do with the last post of shear positivity and I will say that for the record.
Jim
ps, SG I'm really sick of you telling 'Nit how great he is. He might get the wrong impression that his guitar of choice is driving his greatness - and we CAN'T have that. I say this with all positivity and not conducive to non-positivity.
pss, SG you left us all hanging with your lessons. Any chance you will pick that up again? In a positive way, of course.

Ya know....while you were getting pictures with Mickey this was such a positive place to hang out :cussing:
I didn't miss you one milli-bit

For you, NO!
But if T asks me to do it I will.

And I can hear it.....
I'm very proud to imagine that I actually helped,,,,even just a tad.

Hey now, what happened to all that positive positivity? Sheesh, I'm gone for a couple of days and this place goes to heck in a hand basket! I am glad to be able to bring back some Disney magic to your life! Its pretty obvious that I need to DIRECT your corrupt nonpositivity.
I guess I'll have to ask 'Nit to ask you to help us all out again... That is if he gets back to me with a positive response to your hopefully positive response to his positive request for some positive lessons reinforcing positive lead playing.
Yer positive pal forever!
