Title: Editing PDF files
Post by: EL34 on June 07, 2014, 09:16:11 am
I just use the standard free version of adobe reader and so I can't edit PDF files

Anyone here able to edit PDF?

I have several PDF files that have some sort of water mark on them
You can see the letter e in the image below
I was wondering if there is any way to scrub this off of pdf files?

Send them to echambley@yahoo.com with instructions to what you want edited.  I will get to them if you are not in a hurry.  If they do not have security embedded I have the tools to do it.  I may have to wait till Monday.  I do have Acrobat Pro on this machine, but may need something better like Pitstop which my production machines at work.

It is not a matter of scrubbing, as you say.  Simply reversing the pdf creation process and returning them to editable files if they were not created from scans.  Sometimes you cannot do it, but I usually can.

I'll PM you and send you a link to one of the files

I was more curious about if it can be done.

I may spring for a program that could edit and create pdf's
