Title: My first home made bread board!!
Post by: hesamadman on August 02, 2014, 02:51:01 pm
I figured I would post my progress of my bread board. I feel like the design I came up with will be very convenient and also very similar to a regular chassis.....just extremely oversized.

I bought a ton of terminal strips for $.25 each and a ton of tube sockets. Going to lay it all out similar to how you would lay out an amp. The back lip I will mount my tube sockets, fuse, power, ect.

On my tube sockets, I will wire leads to them with crimp on connections and makeup a bunch of random leads with the opposite end crimp on connection. So everything will be plug and play. Ill drill multiple holes where the transformers mount to accommodate different transformers.

The front plate I will mount all of my switches, pots, and jewel lights.

I bought a sheet of metal. Made a home made metal break. Bent the metal into a square U shape. Made the same U shape out of wood for the metal to fit in and I am in the process of riveting the metal onto the wood.

What do you guys think?
