In the AC100...how important is the Brimistor (not present in this amp) or the Thermistor that took its place in the more modern schem.?
If I do not use those, or a Low Ohm/High Watt resistor in their place, will that have a bad effect on that 1 Amp Slo-Blo fuse.?
Were those part of an equation that allows using one amp instead of a higher value fuse if those components are not used.?
I guess what I am asking is...If I do not use anything to replace the Brimistor, am I still OK with that 1 Amp fuse.?
Thank You

Thank You.
I was hoping I would be OK with leaving that "stuff" out.
Thanks Again

Use good hefty rectifiers. 2.5A is not too large. Then you don't need a surge-slowing device.

10-4.
I forget the number...but they are the big, 3 Amp diodes.
Thanks.
