I will be happy to read a link if there is one that talks about this.
I was looking at The Forums Scheamtics...and noticed there are Two major schem drawing programs.
1. j-schem
2. express-sch
I am wondering if you guys have a preference.
I Do Not have a lot of computer skills. I have only, ever, used the computer to access The Internet...and that is about it.
Ssssooooooo...does it matter.?
I will be using a laptop...running Windows 8.1
Would you recommend I use program one over the other.?
Thank You VERY Much

Express is used mostly. J-scem is a mac version.
Some use Visio/Microsoft which has much more features, but more difficult.

Jschem works via Java on Windows, Mac and Linux
Express sch is windows only
Both do about the same thing

I really like using TinyCAD. It's a free download and there is a valve library for it that I think you need to google for and find. I made a custom library for it just for tube amp stuff that makes life even easier. It has more realistically sized components and split triodes and such. I can post my library up somewhere if you want to check it out.
I used to just do everything in the free version of Eagle but I like the simplicity of TinyCAD. Almost no learning curve and it produces VERY nice looking schematics. You can look at my blog to see some schematics I made in it... http://www.1darren1.com/ (http://www.1darren1.com/)

MakerDP, I just downloaded TinyCad. Do you mind sharing your library to save me from re-inventing the wheel? Thanks.
