This amp my dad built for me. It has a octal preamp tube, but similar to a Fender Princeton. It has a 6L6 power tube and a hefty OT. He beefed of the power supply and tweaked a few other things. The amp doesn't distort a lot. Originally it had negative feedback and was clean all the way to 12. I removed the feedback to get a little grit, but am planning on adding a NF on/off switch. I love this amp. I recorded with a sm57 with the volume set at about 2. So the the amp didn't even really get to breathe at all. Still think it sounded good though. The guitar used was an Epiphone Casino hollowbody with P-90s. Hope yall enjoy.
Just an improvised jam to a youtube backing track. Thank you to all those on youtube who provide backing tracks, because they are a blast to play to. Hope yall like it.

Thank you guys. I'm finding that I prefer playing with nice clean tones rather than really distorted ones. I've been trying to voice the "dirty" channel on another build, and it's a pain. :BangHead: Getting an amp to have a nice overdrive tone is much more difficult. Always sounds "broken" to me.
Thanks for taking the time to listen.
Peace
