Title: A possible solution for unobtainable pot with phisiological intake
Post by: kagliostro on October 07, 2014, 11:03:35 pm
There is on the market a new kind of pot (well, it isn't, it is a step attenuator)

the idea is to use one of this and carefully make a very small hole in correspondence of the resistance value at which you need the intake

and carefully solder there a small piece of rigid wire to be used as the fourth pin

Just followed the Ebay link. Their use of the words "DACT Type" is misleading (the Hong Kong location and cheapish housing tipped me that it was probably an imposter, as "DACT" stands for "Danish Audio Connect").

The real DACT (http://www.dact.com/html/attenuators.html).

The key is all in the world type

they didn't say DACT, they say DACT type

the two aren't the same  and they know well :icon_biggrin: :icon_biggrin:
