Title: Heater wireing
Post by: Medman on November 08, 2014, 08:57:23 pm
Hi Tubeheads. I have seen on several Fender schematics where they ground one side of the 6.3 volts for the heater voltage
and only run one wire to the other side of the filimate. Dose this work and what about noise? Thanks JP

Sure it works, but not as well as the later style filament circuit with a center tapped heater winding or artificial center tap.
