Title: Fender 5e3 Deluxe

I built my second tube amp the First was a Supro 6420 Thunderbolt
this one a Fender 5e3 deluxe
I am going to build my second Supro should I use carbon resistors does it matter

Nice work!   I quit using Carbon because more often than not I was taking one or more out because I'd get noise issues, so for a few cents more I just do metal film for everything.

Second the motion on metal films. On an amp like that, what do you have, 21 resistors? What's the cost delta, like $5, right?

It just happened I had this Green Pleather laying around from a boat I recovered the side walls so why not use it and I had one green knob so I got one more from Doug
